Representative Experience

Won partial summary judgment limiting shipowner liability for Jones Act personal injury claim to the value of a single dredge performing a government contract that involved multiple vessels and the dredge's pending freight valued at a specific portion of the dredge's work on that contract 

Represented shipowner in government investigation and multiparty litigation arising from a pipeline strike in the course of performing U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredging contract

Represented shipowners in government investigations arising from record book discrepancies 

Represented lending banks in purchase and sale of fishing vessels and tug and barge fleets 

Won motion to dismiss dram shop personal injury claim against vessel owner prior to commencement of discovery

Won multiple motions to dismiss cargo claims based on forum selection clauses in shipping documents
